    An object of one hundred and forty grams is dropped in an overflow pot that is full of a liquid whose density is two grams per cubic centimeter. After the overflowed liquid is removed, if the mass of the system (pot, liquid, and object) seems to be increased by one hundred and twelve grams, what is the density of the object?

    A) 11
    B) 12
    C) 13
    D) 14
    E) 15


    Volume of the overflown liquid: (140 - 112) / 2 = 14 cm^3
    Density of the object: 140 / 14 = 10 gram / cm^3.
